Built in the 1760's, Lancaster House is a light and spacious Georgian townhouse conveniently situated in the heart of Whitby close to amenities, transport links and beaches. The house is spread over 4 floors (so not suitable for the very elderly or infirm), with a fully equipped kitchen in the basement, open and airy living and dining rooms on the ground floor which are stylishly furnished with a mixture of modern and antique furniture. The first floor has a shower room, twin bedroom and large, spacious King size room with views of the Abbey. The second floor is a large double room with en suite bathroom and spectacular Abbey views. The house is ideal for groups, couples and families alike. Super fast broadband is provided. There are toys and games for children of all ages and a selection of books and DVDs. A parking voucher is provided for the West Cliff car park which is a 4 minute walk from the house. We've taken care to make the house as special and as welcoming as possible to ensure all our guests have a fantastic and relaxing stay in wonderful Whitby.
